Susanta Nanda

Susanta Nanda is a Technical Director. Susanta’s research has primarily focused on building and/or securing software and systems/network infrastructure. His current research focuses on IoT security and user privacy in today's web. At NortonLifeLock, formerly Symantec, he has worked on a variety of areas that include content filtering, malware analysis, cloud systems, software defined networks (SDN), targeted attack prevention, and hypervisor/firmware-based defenses. Prior to joining NortonLifeLock, Susanta went to Stony Brook University for his PhD/CS and Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur for BS/CS. Susanta has also worked as a junior research staff member in Bell Labs prior to joining the PhD program, and interned in multiple research organizations during his doctoral work.
