Beyza Bozdemir is working as a research scientist at Norton Research Group. She holds her PhD in Applied Cryptography from Sorbonne Universite and EURECOM. Her research interests contain designing privacy-preserving machine learning techniques using advanced cryptographic techniques such as secure multiparty computation or homomorphic encryption. Moreover, she worked at Duality as a research intern on fully homomorphic encryption and implemented some parts of it, which were integrated into PALISADE.

Researcher
She received her Bachelor study in Mathematics and her Master study in Cryptography at METU in 2014 and 2016, respectively. During her Master study, she worked on several authenticated encryption schemes in the CAESAR competition and analyzed them using Statistical and Cryptographic Randomness Tests. In particular, her Master study was the SAC Analysis of the algorithm of Pi-Cipher. Her thesis improved the bit diffusion analysis of Pi-Cipher. Before joining EURECOM, she worked as a crypto researcher at TÜBİTAK until April 2018.
